Sri lanka is a historical and cultural heritage country in south asia,date back over 2,500 years. The island is the home to two main traditional cultures: the Sinhalese (centered in the ancient cities of Kandy and Anuradhapura) and the Tamil (centered in the city of Jaffna). Sri Lanka has more recently been called India's "fallen tear."
